Senior Software Engineer in LabTech team

About The Position

CUJO AI is the leading provider of artificial intelligence solutions for network service providers. We use machine learning and real-world data to develop and deliver innovative cybersecurity, device intelligence, and parental controls that enable network operators to offer better and safer connected experiences to millions of households. 

Today, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our LabTech team. The team operates from multiple locations in Europe: Lithuania, Finland, Hungary. Its responsibility is designing, developing, and operating the platforms that provide protection against cyber threats for Billions of home user devices. We work with Cloud native solutions (AWS) and bleeding-edge technology.  

Your responsibilities will be: 

  • Work together with the team to improve the quality of our operations. 
  • Designing, operating and driving multi-region AWS deployment strategies for services. 
  • Participating in development of large volume low latency services. 
  • Participating in development of large volume data processing services. 
  • Contribute to company-wide practices of securely design, develop and operating of services. 


Requirements

Required competencies:  

  • Strong Ops mentality (service development with monitoring, telemetry, automated alerts, service self-recovery in mind). 
  • Strong AWS infrastructure management experience (terraform/or similar IaC practices). 
  • AWS Cost awareness (cost estimations/cost visibilities via tagging). 
  • Experience with Canary Deployment (A/B, Blue/Green strategies for Fargate/Lambda). 
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies. 
  • Experience with Python. 
  • Experience with Docker. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in real and remote meetings. 
  • Willingness to actively participate in improvement of existing services and infrastructures. 
  • Hands-on and can-do attitude. 

Preferred competencies: 

  • Documentation and technical writing skills. 
  • Experience in Secure SDLC Practices. 
  • Experience in Service Disaster Recovery Practices.
