We are looking for a research team leader to manage and mentor a team of researchers, data analysts and data collectors.
You will lead research and new algorithm development aimed at improving the system performance.
You will become an expert in the domain, stay current with changes in the network stack and derive innovation and PoC’s of new use cases.
You will conduct hands-on research and in-depth data analysis to support the team and address the team’s challenges.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the company’s vision is effectively implemented with the highest standards.
You will present research findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders in and out of the company.
Requirements
What do you bring:
- MSc/Ph.D. in an analytical field (CS, ECE, Stats, Math, or related fields) from a well-known university.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in industry R&D work in algorithms and machine learning (classical and DL).
- At least 2 years as a research team leader supporting a system deployed in production.
- Strong theoretical background in classic Machine Learning / Statistics / DL.
- Proficient in SQL, Python and common Python libraries, such as numpy, pandas matplotlib and Sklearn.
- Proficient with DL frameworks such as Pytorch or TensorFlow.
- Fundamentals in problem solving, algorithm design, and model building, including statistical analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive, highly motivated individual with a high work ethic and goal-oriented approach.
Bonus Points
- Experience with network data research
- Proficient in using Wireshark and/or packet processing tools
